Cookware

Want to make cleaning up a breeze? Follow these easy instructions to increase the longevity of your products, prevent damage to your oven or stovetop, and lower the risks of burning food onto the surface of your pans (yes, we’ve all been there).

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Quick Dip
Handwash your products with warm, soapy water to remove any dirt or debris left over from the manufacturing and shipping process.

2. Clean as a Whistle
Wipe dry with a soft, non-abrasive dish towel to avoid scratching. The bottom surface of your pans should be dry before touching a burner.

3. Let's Talk Seasoning
Ceramic comes naturally non-stick, so no need to season your pots or pans beyond a dash of oil.

4. Ready for the Heat
Pre-heat for up to 90 seconds on low to medium heat only before adding oil. Avoid leaving an empty pan on a hot burner, unless over very low heat.

5. Discover Your Winning Recipe
Every stovetop and oven's heat efficiency varies. For your first few uses, we suggest monitoring your heat setting (like boiling pasta) to dial in on the perfect way to warm up your pans, and then make adjustments to recipes as needed.

DURING COOKING

1. Burnin’ Up
Caraway cookware can hold heat more efficiently than traditional pans, so use pans on low to medium heat when cooking. Overheating can wear away the non-stick coating.

2. Au Natural
Your food will effortlessly glide on your ceramic pans, so less is more when it comes to oil or butter. 1-2 tablespoons is more than enough to lightly coat the entire pan surface. Allow 20-30 seconds to pre-heat before you add food.

3. Ditch the Sprays
Avoid oil sprays or cooking aerosols. Instead, use butter or liquid based oils to best preserve the slick coating.

4. No Pointy Edges
Utensils with rough edges will damage your non-stick coating, so stick to soft wooden, silicone, plastic or nylon products. Avoid using metal entirely. Always be sure to cut or dice food on a separate surface and not inside your pan.

5. Graceful Landing
Carefully place pans on and off stovetops. Sliding across metal stovetops may damage the steel base.

6. Too Hot To Handle
If placing your cookware in the oven or leaving on a burner, use a pot holder, oven mitt, or dishtowel as handles will get hot to the touch.

7. Over, Not Under
Grip the lid handles with your fingertips or palm down so your hand does not graze a hot lid — ouch!

8. Making a Splash
Lift your lids with a slight angle over the pan to direct the captured moisture underneath back into the pan and not onto your counter when cooking.

9. Mind the Bump
First-degree burns are all the rage (said no one ever). The small ‘bump’ on the underside of the pan handles are designed to show you how far your hand should extend before entering the danger zone.

10. All Fired Up
When you remove your pan from the oven or stove, place the hot lids or pans on the cork trivets provided to you to protect your kitchen countertops.

AFTER COOKING

1. Time To Cool Down
Allow your cookware to cool completely before running cold water over its surface to avoid thermal shock (meaning it might crack—yikes!). Your pans can withstand extreme temperatures on both ends of the spectrum, but sudden and significant changes can reduce their lifespan.

2. No Dishwasher, No Problem
Our non-stick coating makes cleaning a breeze. Save time & water with a gentle scrub to keep your pans in optimal condition. Continual use in the dishwasher can affect the longevity of the non-stick coating of your pans.

3. Squeaky Clean
Clean the cooking surface with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or dishcloth until the pan is spotless before storing. For stains on the exterior of the pan, you may use a stronger sponge (we suggest a wool sponge) with a high-strength detergent.

4. Breaking Bonds
If food gets stuck onto the surface, fear not! Simmer soapy water over a low heat then gently scrape away with a sponge or non-abrasive scrubber. Rinse and repeat if needed. For strong stains or residue, scrub with a mixture of 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of baking soda, and a 1/2 cup of white vinegar.

5. Dry It Out
Dry with a soft, non-abrasive dish towel or set it in your pan racks to air dry completely.

6. Load It Up
For storing, we recommend utilizing your pan racks and lid holder to keep your cookware in top condition. If stacking, place towels, trivets, or a protective sheath between pan surfaces to minimize direct contact.

7. Browning Points

Similar to your favorite cast iron pan, browning is natural and bound to occur with regular cooking and use—nothing some baking soda and vinegar can't solve. It only adds character.

STORING YOUR PANS

How you store your cookware is just as important as how you cook with them. Our thoughtfully designed organizers make sure your pans and lids sleep safe and sound.

Lid Holder

1. Select a clean & dry wall or cabinet door you will place the two clear adhesive hooks to, making sure there is enough clearance so lids do not knock into anything (we recommend the under sink cabinet).

2. Remove the protective strip on the back of each hook to expose the adhesive layer.

3. Place hooks in the lid holder eyelets and position in place on your cabinet door, making sure the lids can fit nice and snug and hang freely down without obstruction.

4. We suggest that you let the hooks sit in place for 48-72 hours without the lid holder to give the adhesion time to dry and bond. Once firm, place the lid holder onto the hooks and add your lids from smallest to largest.

5. Your hooks will be tough cookies to remove once properly applied. To detach, blow a hair dryer onto the adhesive for about 30 seconds to loosen it up. Then carefully stick a butter knife behind to separate from the surface.

6. If you need to clean your lid holder, please hand wash.

Pan Racks

Each of your four pans come with its own holding rack for easy storing. All four racks magnetically connect to create a match made in heaven.

1. We recommend arranging your pan racks horizontally. If stacking vertically, stacking more than two racks at a time may cause them to collapse.

2. Place the racks inside a cabinet or on the countertop and use it as an Instagram-ready drying station for your pans (remember to slip a dish towel underneath to absorb the excess water).

3. If needed, best to hand wash your rack holders.

Bakeware

Follow these instructions to keep your bakeware in mint condition and help make cleaning up a breeze.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Quick Dip
Hand wash your bakeware with warm, soapy water to remove any dirt or debris left over from the manufacturing and shipping process.

2. Clean as a Whistle
Wipe dry with a soft, non-abrasive dish towel to avoid scratching. The full top and bottom surface of your bakeware should be fully dry before being put in the oven.

3. Skip the Seasoning
Ceramic comes naturally non-stick, so no need to season your bakeware.

4. Ready for the Heat
Heat your oven to your desired temperature before adding in your bakeware. Avoid putting empty bakeware into the oven without any food on it.

5. Friendly Fire
Your bakeware does not play well with open flames (stovetops, grills, campfires), so stick to only using in the oven.

DURING BAKING

1. Discover Your Winning Recipe
Our bakeware’s ceramic coating allows for even heat distribution. For your first few uses, closely monitor your heat setting to dial in on the perfect baking temperature or oven time and adjust recipes as needed.

2. Line It Up
Our ceramic surface is designed for easy release when fully coated with flour, or a light amount of oil or butter, before food is added, per recipe instructions. For a speedy clean up, lining with parchment paper will also maintain its non-stick quality.

3. Ditch the Sprays
Avoid oil sprays or cooking aerosols. Instead, use butter or liquid based oils to best preserve the slick coating.

4. No Pointy Edges
Utensils with rough edges will damage your non-stick coating, so stick to soft wooden, silicone, plastic, or nylon products. Avoid using metal entirely. Do not cut baked goods while they are in the pan.

5. Graceful Landing
Sharp metal edges may damage the exterior base coating, so place carefully on and off oven grates and stovetops.

6. Too Hot To Handle
When placing your bakeware in or out of the oven, use a pot holder, oven mitt, or dishtowel as the pans and handles will get hot to the touch.

7. Hot & Poppin'
It is normal for bakeware to slightly “warp” and make a popping sound in the oven due to the heat. Don’t worry—our bakeware’s reinforced rim will ensure it will flatten once cooled.

8. Baked, Never Broiled
Not to be used under an oven’s broil setting, beyond 550°F, or in a microwave.

9. All Fired Up
When you remove your bakeware from the oven, place your pans on the cork trivets provided to protect your kitchen countertops.

AFTER BAKING

1. Time To Cool Down
Let your bakeware cool completely before running cold water over its surface to avoid thermal shock (meaning it might crack—yikes!). Your bakeware can withstand extreme temperatures on both ends of the spectrum, but sudden and significant changes can reduce their lifespan.

2. A Handy Way To Clean
Our non-stick coating makes cleaning up by hand a breeze. Save time & water with a gentle scrub to keep your bakeware in optimal condition.

3. Come Clean

Cover the baking pan with 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 cup vinegar. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. This will release stuck-on food so that it can be easily wiped away. Once the mess is gone, wash the baking pan with mild dish soap.

5. Browning Points
Similar to your favorite cast iron pan, browning is natural and bound to occur with regular baking and use (it builds character)—but it’s nothing some baking soda and vinegar can’t remove.

6. Dry It Out
Dry with a soft, non-abrasive dish towel or place inside your bakeware storage to air dry completely.

7. Load It Up

For storing, we recommend utilizing your storage caddies to keep your bakeware in top condition. If stacking, place towels, trivets, or a protective sheath between pan surfaces to minimize direct contact.

STORING YOUR BAKEWARE

1. All Together Now
Place your bakeware caddies into an empty cabinet with the front handles facing outward. This will make it easy to slide your caddies effortlessly in and out of you cabinet. For optimal storing, we recommend utilizing a deeper cabinet, like the one under the sink.

2. Everything You Need, And Then Some
Fill your storage units with items from your Bakeware Set. The sloping internal dividers within the organizers will snugly house each piece. Nest one of your Round Cake Pans inside the Square Pan to optimize on space, leaving room for additional pieces (you can thank us later).

3. Easy Access Guaranteed
To access your bakeware, simply slide the caddy out using the handle, grab your desired item, and get baking.
